“He hath made everything beautiful in His time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

“Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come” (Psalm 102 :13).

At the appointed time:

  1. REPROACH SHALL BECOME REWARD
  2. CURSE SHALL BECOME BLESSING.
  3. HUMILIATION SHALL BECOME EXALTATION.
  1. REPROACH SHALL BECOME REWARD: “And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day” (Genesis 18:1). “ Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son” (Genesis 18:14). We see the phrase, ‘heat of the day.’ In Sarah’s life, her barrenness seemed to be the hard situation. At the appointed time, the ‘heat of the day’ became the ‘time of life.’ Just as God promised Sarah, God turned her reproach into reward when she waited for it. Our God shall turn all reproaches into blessings, shame into fame, problems into possibilities. Abraham and Sarah who waited for the appointed time received the son of promise, Isaac, who was the reward of God. God shall turn all our reproaches into rewards, shame into fame, impossibilities into possibilities and pains into pleasures.
  1. CURSE SHALL BECOME BLESSING: “To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons” (Galatians 4:5). “Then cometh He to his disciples, and saith unto them, sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners” (Matthew 26:45). Though Jesus Christ is one among the triune God, He gave up His glory and majesty. At the God-appointed time, He was born of a virgin, Mary, obeyed Mary and Joseph for thirty years and ministered for three and a half years by maintaining His fellowship with the Father. When the fulness of time came, Jesus took upon Himself the Judgment that has to come upon us, because of our sins and follies, and became a curse on the Cross by offering salvation to the whole mankind. To bless us, He became a curse. To make us rich, He became poor.
  1. HUMILIATION SHALL BECOME EXALTATION: “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” (1 Peter 5:6). At the right time, God shall convert our lowly humiliation into exaltation. He will turn our famine into prosperity and scarcity into abundance. Let us take the life of Joseph. The more he was abased, the more he was exalted at the appointed time. “Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou” (Genesis 41:40). “It is time for thee, LORD, to work:  for they have made void thy law” (Psalm 119:126).

In this New Year, God shall walk before you, break the hindrances and pave the way for success. God shall be with you and prosper your life. All your losses shall become gains.
