I was born in a Christian family. But I did not accept Christ fully and lived a nominal Christian life. My mother was a very prayerful lady who labored hard to lead me in my spiritual life. But I did not remember my Creator in the days of my youth. Even then Christ, my Redeemer did not forget me. In the year 1982, I got a job in the school where my mother worked. Even then I did not live with gratefulness to God. In the year 1987, I got married. My wife too was from a nominal Christian family. God remembered me who was neither hot nor cold. In the year 1998, my wife and I took water baptism in a spiritual Church in Kolathur. Since that day, we used to attend every service as a family, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together in the Church. I have two sons.

According to Romans 8: 28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Thus the LORD Jesus Christ did lead us. In the year 2013, I suffered a heart attack and got better. Again in the year 2014, there was a big block in the blood vessel and again I developed pain.  By the immense grace and mercy of God, and the prayers of all, I received healing. Since I was a government servant, I was not charged for my medication. Insurance covered all the expenses of my treatment. God showered mercy and granted me healing.

In the year 2016, as a family, we started attending A.C.A. Perambur Ministries. Since then, we, as a family attend all the services conducted in the Church and magnify God. My younger son, Mark, suddenly had high temperature for four days. It was the time that the disease, Dengue was spreading everywhere. We were so depressed and cried in the presence of the LORD. The Word of the LORD comforted us and granted us solace. “….. I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them” (Isaiah 41: 17). In accordance with God’s leading, we admitted our son in the Government General Hospital. They examined our son and reported that he had Dengue. On that Sunday, after the service was over, I approached our Chief Pastor and requested him to pray for my son. He prayed for my son very earnestly. The LORD God who confirms and establishes us, spoke to me kindly and comforted me by saying, “Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of My hands; thy walls  are continually before Me” (Isaiah 49: 16).

In the Tuesday Prayer Warriors’ Meeting, on behalf of us, Pastor Jackson and Aunty Lucy Jackson offered earnest prayers to the LORD. Associate Pastors visited and prayed for my son in the hospital. The platelets of my son started reducing rapidly. They got reduced to 16,000, which should have been1,50,000. Blood started to ooze out. We thought that the situation will worsen and that our son would not live any longer. The hand of the LORD and the mercy of the Almighty God gave back the life of our son. His health improved and God helped him to come home after six days. Million thanks to the LORD. We thank our Chief Pastor and His family, Uncle Jackson, Aunty Lucy, Associate Pastors and all the prayer warriors who prayed for us. Hallellujah!

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD,

and whose hope the LORD is” (Jeremiah 17:7).
