“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have      promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah” (Jeremiah 33:14).

The Lord is a promise keeping God. Whatever He has promised you in the past, He is going to fulfill it this month. Man may have promised you many things. Because of his frailties and chronic limitations, he may not be able to keep them. But God is not so. God tests our faith so that we may trust in Him fully. Our faithful God who led us these past months will lead us this month too. Let us expect great things from God this month.

  1. DIVINE MANIFESTATION: “Call unto Me, and I will answer thee …..” (Jeremiah 33:3). The Lord says, “Ask Me and I will tell you remarkable secrets about what is going to happen.” If God’s people strengthen their prayer lives, they will see great and mighty things in their lives, family and ministry this month. Don’t expect an answer without prayer. Can you imagine an answer paper without a question paper? The LORD promises to do incredible things for us, but He expects us to spend time in prayer and wait upon Him. This month the LORD says, “…. For I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you” (Habakkuk 1: 5). Man’s prayer assures and invites God’s response. On our part, we need to accept God’s great and unsearchable things. Deuteronomy 1: 8 says, “…Go in and possess the land which the LORD hath given thee” but the people said, “The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to Heaven.” When God speaks to us something great, we also speak like the people of Israel. “Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them. The LORD your God which goeth before you, He shall fight for you” (Deuteronomy 1: 29, 30). We need to be like Caleb this month and confess, “I shall be able as the LORD said.” (Joshua 14:12).
  1. DIVINE HEALTH: “Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth” (Jeremiah 33:6). More than divine healing, we need divine health. God is promising divine health for you this month. Along with the divine health comes, abundance of peace and truth. Are you sick in your body, mind or soul? The LORD says, “I will restore health unto thee, I will heal thee of thy wounds (Jeremiah 30: 17). King Asa was diseased in his feet, “until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not the LORD, but to the physicians (2 Chronicles 16: 12). Our God wants us to put our trust in Him and not in any man. When Asa heard God’s voice through the Prophet, instead of prostrating before the LORD, he got angry with the Prophet. Thus he incurred God’s wrath and contracted that disease. Once C.T. Studd, a great Missionary, in the interior part of Africa, was affected with Malaria fever. Claiming James 5: 14, he called his young assistant, Alfred Buxton, and said, “I thank God, the elder’s age is not mentioned in this verse. I take you as an elder. I also thank God, the oil’s name is also not mentioned. You can anoint me with the only available kerosene oil on me and pray.” Buxton prayed for him and the LORD healed him. “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the Church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord” (James 5: 14). This month take the LORD as your health.
  1. DIVINE STABILITY: “And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first” (Jeremiah 33:7). The LORD says, “I will build them as at the first.” The LORD once built us up but because we became slack in our spiritual lives, the wall that the LORD built is broken. The wall stands for stability and security. The Bible talks of the walls of salvation, walls of holiness, walls of consecration, walls of dedication, walls of devotion and walls of faith. The wall of enemity that was between you and your God was already been broken by Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. God has built another wall between you and the world which should never be broken. The enemy, satan constantly attacks this wall of separation that God has built between you and the world. 2 Chronicles 25: 23 – 24 says, “And Joash the king of Israel, took Amaziah king of Judah, …. and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim ….. and he took all the gold and silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with Obed-edom” Your enemy will rob all your precious spiritual things if he breaks the wall of holiness. If this wall is broken, weep and mourn, fast and pray like Nehemiah did, so that God will once again help you to build your spiritual life to experience divine stability.
  1. DIVINE SANCTIFICATION: “And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against Me” (Jeremiah 33:8). The LORD is our sanctifier. He cleanses us from all our iniquities whereby we have sinned against him. There are two sanctifying agents that God has provided for our holy living: 1.The Blood of Jesus Christ that cleanseth us from all our sins. 2. The Word of Christ sanctifies us because it is the Word of truth. “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” (Matthew 5: 8). Set right your inside world, ie., your mind and heart, to see God in your outside world. When we experience God’s forgiveness and cleansing then our physical eyes shall see God in all our circumstances in ways we have never seen Him before. Your heart becomes clouded when you resist God. Clear the cloud by yielding to Him. If your heart is purified by Christ, then you will see Him everywhere. How do you see God around you? It is possible when you do the following- 1. Acknowledge your sin 2.Turn away from your sin 3.Ask Christ to forgive your sin 4.Yield your life to Christ. 5.Look for Him in your daily circumstances. “Keep out of your life, whatever keeps Christ out of your mind”. You will see that God is sanctifying you.
  1. DIVINE DISTINCTION: “And it shall be to Me a name of joy, praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it” (Jeremiah 33:9). The LORD expects three things from us. Firstly, He wants us to honour Him before the heathen. Secondly, He wants us to become His joy and delight. Thirdly, He wants us to praise and glorify Him. The LORD says, “When you do your part, then I will do my part”. If we do these three things, the LORD says, “I will shower my goodness and prosperity upon you for them to see what I do for you. ” When the LORD did wonders in Egypt and brought his people out of bondage miraculously, He put the distinction as He said, “That ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel” (Exodus 11: 7). He divided the Red Sea and made His people to walk on dry ground. The Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians” (Exodus 14: 25). This month, the LORD will break all barriers and make a distinction. He will put fear in the hearts of other people concerning you.
