I am here to testify of the wonderful work that God has performed in my life.  Firstly, I thank God for saving and bringing me from the Catholic faith in which I was born, to a born again believer at the age of 56 years.  Praise God, for I won a soul, my husband who got saved and together we were baptized on 27th July, 2014 by Pastor Adam.

As Catholics, we did not know the importance of what it meant to be actually saved, until I started coming to A.C.A.Perambur.  We were immersed in idol worship and really lovers of the world. We knew the name of Jesus but we did not have a personal relationship with Him. I thank God for the Church fellowship that He led us to because it was here that God opened our eyes to the truth and set us free. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8 :32). To be born again, means to accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, in obeying and being baptized  through water baptism and the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!

Secondly, I am also to testify of the healing that I have received from Jesus. I had been suffering with excruciating low back pain for more than 15 years. It got worse while we had visited our sons in Australia in 2015. On returning to India in April 2016, I had been to three different orthopedic doctors, who advised X-rays and scans. Every one of them said that a surgery was the only cure. This meant that I had to spend two lakhs of rupees.

Making up my mind to go ahead with the surgery was difficult for two reasons. One being, that I was worried as I knew it was a serious surgery as it dealt with the central nervous system, which could have had a lot of impact on my life in case the surgery went against me. I could have ended up being bedridden for life. Secondly, it was also the financial burden. I told my husband that I am not going to withstand this surgery, but if GOD wants me to do it and if He provides the finance for it, I will go ahead.

A few days later, God did make that provision in a very miraculous manner. He sent an angel to provide me the entire cost of my surgery. I then understood, God’s ways are marvelous and I thanked him and went in bravely for my surgery on 27th July 2016. By God’s grace and mercy, I came through a four hour surgery safe and sound. God was always at my side, with me and through it all.

I thank the Pastor and all the Church members for their prayers and support . They have all been extremely kind and supportive in visiting and extending help in various ways. They have all been family to me!  God is really gracious when you trust Him!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”(Jeremiah 29:11).
