“…. there should be time no longer” (Revelation 10: 6).

“Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assemble unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them” (Ezekiel 38: 7).

  1. IT IS TIME NOT TO BE SILENT, BUT TO INTERCEDE: “For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14).

Mordecai informed Esther about the destruction of the Jews. But Esther replied giving an excuse that she cannot enter the king’ presence uninvited. Thus she wanted to hide herself in the palace and chose to remain silent. But Mordecai sent back the following words of Burden. He said, “Queen Esther, you are in a period of intercession. How can you be silent? You might have received the palatial position for the deliverance of the Jews.” At once, Esther awakened to realization, fasted, made petition unto the king and redeemed the whole Jewish race. Dear sister, are you utilizing the opportunities and positions for the deliverance and the blessing of others?

  1. IT IS TIME NOT TO PRETEND, BUT TO PREPARE: “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps” (Matthew 25:6, 7).

When the Bridegroom tarried, all the ten virgins were awaiting His return. Wise virgins had oil in their lamps. But the foolish virgins acted as if they had oil in their lamps. They pretended as if they were prepared to meet the Bridegroom. When they were about to meet Him, their lamps had gone out. If you do not possess the oil of preparation, you cannot achieve the goal of attaining the Bridegroom. The sin of pretence will lead to deception. This is not the time to pretend but to be prepared. So, let us act with vigilance and get prepared to meet the Lord Jesus!

  1. IT IS TIME NOT TO WASTE, BUT TO ACT VICTORIOUSLY: “And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle…… Then Jael Heber’s wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.” (Judges 4:18, 21).

Note the phrase that Jael went out to meet Him. Jael did not waste her time but acted judiciously at the right time. Jael waited by her tent door to meet Sisera and received him into her tent. When Sisera ran on foot, Jael utilized the opportunity to act victoriously. She planned and killed Sisera with a hammer and a tent peg. Dear sister, is your house, a house of prayer to destroy the works of the evil one? Is your house, a house of praise to break the strongholds of satan? This is the time to attain victory. This is not the time to be withered away. This is the time to act upon faith. This is not the time to speak vain words. Time is nigh and at hand. Redeem the time.
